Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 1, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of NaiRoute websites, mobile applications, APIs, and payment services operated by NaiRoute Technology LTD. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and account registration

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter binding contracts. Business users must have authority to act on behalf of their organization.

You agree to provide accurate information during registration and keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.

2. Services we provide

NaiRoute provides tools to fund wallets, initiate transfers, manage beneficiaries, and track settlement status for Nigeria–China payment workflows. Services may vary by verification tier, jurisdiction, and partner availability.

3. Verification and acceptable use

We may require identity, business, and source-of-funds verification before enabling higher limits or specific corridors.

You may not use NaiRoute for unlawful activity, sanctions evasion, fraudulent schemes, unauthorized third-party access, or any purpose that violates applicable law or partner rules.

We may suspend, restrict, or close accounts that present compliance, fraud, or security risk.

4. Transfers, fees, and settlement

Quoted rates, fees, and settlement timelines are shown before you confirm a transaction. Once submitted, transfers may not be reversible.

Settlement times depend on banking partners, compliance reviews, public holidays, and recipient details. NaiRoute is not liable for delays caused by third-party institutions outside our reasonable control.

5. Wallet balances and limits

Displayed wallet balances are based on synchronized partner data and internal records. Limits may apply based on verification status, transaction history, and regulatory requirements.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access immediately where required by law, requested by authorities, or necessary to protect users and the platform.

If your account is suspended, you may contact hello@nairoute.com for review. You remain responsible for obligations incurred before suspension or closure.

7. Intellectual property

All software, branding, content, and materials provided through NaiRoute remain our property or that of our licensors. You receive a limited, revocable license to use the services for their intended purpose.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Services are provided on an “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, NaiRoute is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the services. Our aggregate liability for direct losses is limited to the fees paid to us for the relevant transaction, except where law prohibits such limitation.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Disputes should first be raised with our support team at hello@nairoute.com. Where unresolved, disputes may be submitted to competent courts in Lagos, Nigeria unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised date. Material changes may also be communicated in-app or by email.
